Being the mother of 3 has been tougher on me than I thought...and in more ways than one. I'm still losing weight though, I can't complain about that. I've lost all of the baby weight, plus a little, but still want to lose more, and with this diet & exercise program, I'm well on my way.
We went to a children's museum with a neighbor friend and her 4 y/o son yesterday. I was amazed at how well my kids did. My kiddos are very well behaved, and I attribute that to the fact that we have them on a pretty tight leash most of the time, so that when we're in public, they don't run around and scream . . . like crazy banshees, you know the kid of kids I'm talking about. Alex (now 6 y/o) only wanted to run around when he saw his little friend running around. And Emma (who's 2 1/2), well, she is a delightful little girl who stood by my side most of the time. And little 2 month old Livvy slept most of the time. She woke up once to eat and went right back to sleep. We stopped by McDonald's afterwards to feed the monsters and let them get some wiggles out before heading home.
Let the record state that my kids are fabulous

and
I am super mom. :)
By the time we got home, we were all pretty wiped out. But unbeknownst to me, we still had to run to the store to take care of some business. So I packed up the kids, again, and took them to the store. By the time we got back home, they were hungry again. So I made them some dinner, started more laundry (Livvy had blown out of her diaper while we were at McDonald's earlier - thank you McD's for not having a baby changing station, I love changing a nasty diaper on my lap), loaded & started up the dishwasher, changed and fed the baby, cleaned the baby bottle stuff, cleaned up the aforementioned meal, etc, etc...you get the idea. I had warmed up some leftover chicken & mashed potatoes for myself, but Emma ate most of it.
I honestly didn't get to sit down until about 10pm, when the kids and I knelt to pray before putting them to bed. But then I was up again - Alex started complaining about an upset stomach, so I got him out of bed, helped him make it to the bathroom, cleaned him up after he yacked and put him back to bed. And then Livvy woke up again, so I took care of her. By then it was 11pm and Sex and the City was on (Livvy and I's favorite show), so I put out a big blanket for us to lay on and we chilled on the floor. I put together my coupon shopping list during commercials - if you do couponing, you know that it's no small feat to track down all of the coupons, cut them out and organize them. Did I mention that I'm doing a potty training study with Emma? Yes, so I also had to fill out some paperwork on our day before heading to bed.
The hubby got home from work around 11:20pm. He made himself something to eat, showered and sat on the couch, watched TV and relaxed for an hour before he went to bed. He has a desk job and gets to sit on his tail all day long. He often calls me from work because he's bored. Bored? Seriously? I don't want to hear another word!!

It was close to 1am before I got to bed, my usual bedtime. From 8:30am til 1am, that's 16 1/2 hours of hard core motherhood, my friends. I work hard at my job and am proud of myself for doing it so well.
This whole not having time to sit or eat thing
By proof-reading my above words - yes, I'm well on my way to completely losing my mind.
But I wouldn't trade any of it for anything . . . except the sore feet part. :)
I am surely blessed.
